Lantana Garden Apartment is located on the Çukurbağ Peninsula near Kaş. Unlike many of the high rise apartments on offer in the Kaş area, this 2 bedroom, air-conditioned duplex has the feel of a small cottage in spacious grounds; part of a quiet, well established neighbourhood with world class views.

Downstairs, the small kitchen has all modern conveniences and there is a utility room with washing machine and wc. The open plan lounge/dining area opens onto a patio,  surrounded by a beautiful mature garden full of  melissa, aloe vera, bougainvillea, palms, lavender, lemons, tangerines and many other Mediterranean plant species. This is a perfect spot for an al-fresco dinner, enjoying the sunset and the amazing view across the bay to the Greek Island of Meis (Megisiti).  Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, sharing a stone-tiled bathroom with rain shower (refurbished in May 2013).  Both have balconies to make the most of the setting. There is powerful air-conditioning throughout and fans in the bedrooms.

On warm days you can enjoy the lovely shared pool in the garden or walk 300m down to the communal sea platform and swim off the rocks in warm, crystal clear water.

The charming town of Kaş is 3 miles away. It is a long walk, but there is a regular bus which stops 100m from the apartment.  Kaş is valued by its discerning Turkish and foreign visitors for its relaxed, friendly atmosphere. It  is a place for couples and families, not clubbing party animals. Largely free of cars, the town square looks out over the bustling harbour, and the maze of narrow streets climbing up the hillside contain a wealth of little shops, restaurants and bars.  Steeped in history, the town has some lovely Ottoman houses, a small amphitheater and several fine Lycian tombs; the sites of Phellos, Patara, Myra and Arycanda are less than an hour away. Nearby beaches are picturesque and pebbly, ideal for snorkelling; lovers of golden sand need to travel 20 minutes to Kaputaş, or further to Patara or Demre (both 40 minutes drive).   Kaş stands at the base of a steep mountain covered with olive, pine and maquis scrub. Paragliders launch from the summit and cruise the thermals before dropping down over the town and landing by the harbour. The peninsula shelters a smart new marina, and the opportunities for diving and boating amongst the islands are superb, with crystal clear turquoise water, unspoilt beaches, sunken ruins (Kekova) and some of the best dive sites in the Mediterranean. The area is also popular with walkers following the Lycian Trail and cyclists enjoying the dramatic coastal and mountain scenery.
